Celebrating the divine Mother
This is a period of time where we are to rest, hibernate, study, plan and design what we want to accomplish in the coming year. As well as what plans can we make to release and bury what no longer serves us. It is a time for sharing wisdom of past experiences, reading , honoring the elders among you, creating and expanding your skills and talents.
How to create your own Winter solstice Altar
Find a quiet spot with a flat surface.
Clean and clear.
Place a cloth like a napkin or even a pillow case as a base place your bowl of salt in the center
Bless with both hands holding the bowl, on your white candle carve your name and a star and heart symbol with a pencil or the tip of a small knife.
Place candle in the center of the bowl surrounded by the salt.
The salt represents the earth, the candle the element of fire and the ability to carry your wishes into the world.
The branch represents your connection to nature and the dimes are
12 Star seeds to represent the 12 months of the year
Place the 12 dimes in a circle around the bowl add your crystal and fresh branch.
Place the dimes in your hands, close your eyes get grounded then read this aloud
Star seeds blessings
January February March
Tiny sparks of ideas and dreams light my path
Bless my life as I take charge
April May and June
Growth and purpose bring happiness
As my heart & soul attune into fresh bloom
July August and September
Bring success in all I endeavor
I walk in grace, gratitude I remember
I am blessed as I bless my world with thanks
For raising my vibration to attune with nature
With knowledge what I give out comes back to me
Be it Love, laughter anger or hate, so before it leaves my mouth
a simple pause & deep breath , listening to the clues all around
I make good choices as the wheel turns round
October November and back to December
Star seeds I give thanks for all your information
As the the wee ones guide me to
bring peace, love, balance, prosperity
blessings to remember .
Connecting heaven and earth for my best year ever.
Adding Blessed Be hold your dimes and place your hands over your heart for a few moments, kiss your hands and place the dimes back on your altar.
Now take your paper and pencil write down 3 wishes for the coming year & keep them simple but succinct.
1 for the earth
1 for family or friends
1 for your self
Kiss the paper adding Thank you Star family for your assistance in reaching success for the highest good of all.
Fold paper and place in your envelope, seal and place on your altar.
Then place it in your diary, calendar or planner in the December 2018 section and forget about it.
You will open it next December to see what actually occurred.
Keep your altar up thru new years eve.....
Between December 27 and December 31 scoop your dimes off your altar and go to a very public place with crowds and scatter your dimes out into the world.
Knowing you are blessing the world with your love and prosperity. Mentally see these dimes seeds as a rich crop of harvest for whoever they contact in the next 12 months.
Spend a little time each day burning your candle and soaking up the quiet serenity of winter solstice. Do not leave your candle unattended while burning.
Scatter the salt around your windows and doorways for blessings and protection and even save some in a glass jar for other occasions
As you end your Winter solstice Celebration release the 4 directions and any spiritual helpers you have invited in as you give thanks for their presence in this event and in your life
Snuff out your candle, have a drink of water and a bite to eat to celebrate, ground and center
Love and light blessings
